Reading of The monthly reports of the City Treasurer, City
Monthly Clerk, Recorder, Building Inspector, Gas Department, were

Onson, approved, and ordered placed on file.
APPOINTIdIENT Communication from Chief of Polio Tinsley was

Communication was read from the American Legion
INVITATSION of Fullerton, inviting the Board to attend the Armistice Day

Demand of Reuben A. Nichols, account an error in
REFUND OF assessing new house for purpose of levying 1922-23 taxes, was
TAXES ASSESSED brought up, and in view of the fact that Mr. Nichols presented

allowed, on motion by Trustee Obarr, seconded by Trustee Andrews.
The City Clerk made a verbal request for authority a
TRANSFER OF to transfer the followin funds: $5000 from the Gas Department
FUNDS IN CITY to the Salary Fund, and9.'20,000' from the General Fund -to the
CASH JOURNAL: Street Fund. This transfer was authorized by motion of Trustee
Macklin, seconded by Trustee Onson. Carried.
APPOINT1i]ENT Trustee Andrews , seconded. by Trustee Onson, offered

On motion by Trustee Onson, seconded by Trustee
Andrews, the clerk, was instructed to write Walker & Eisen,
RE: PAINTING architects , asking them to meet with the Board to discuss new
SPECIFICATIONS: painting specifications for the City Hall and Auditorium. Carried.
lil Communication from Chief of Police Tinsley was read ,
TEVV AUTOMOBILE advising that the Dodge car used by the Police Department is in

After come_ discussion, motion was cf fered by Trustee Macklin
seconded by Trustee Onson, that the clerk be instructed to
advertise for bids for 6-cylinder Nash automobile , or its
equivalent, bidder to accept as part payment Dodge touring
car, which may be seen in the hands of the Chief of Police .
