I ROLL CALL Trustees Present: Onson, Macklin, & Drew. Trustee Absent: Obarr & Andrews. FRANCHISE- Mr. L. A. West appeared again before the Board in be- THOS. W. SILEAONS half of Thos. W. Simmons applying for a franchise to lay a pipe line in certain portions of the City and a thorough check was made of corrections that were agreed upon at a previous meeting. On motion by Trustee Macklin, seconded by Trustee Onson, the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids for a franchise as mentioned heretofore in these minutes; , bids to be received July 30th, 1923 at 8: P. 14. TRUSTEE ANDitEWS Trustee Andrews arrived at 9:05. ARRIVES APPROVAL OF PLANS, On motion by Trustee Macklin, seconded by Trustee PROFILES AND (;.MOSS- Onson, the plans , profiles and cross-sections submitted "ECTION S OF PAVING by the City Engineer numbered New Series I, New Series & LIGHTING OCEAN AVE. II , New Series III , & New Series IV, covering the & HEPAIRING & RESURF-paving and lighting of Ucean Avenue and repairing ACING PORTIONS OF and resurfacing portions of Seventeenth Street and 17th & Delaware Ave. Delaware Avenue , were approved. Resolution #395 was read, adopting Specifications for Paving and lighting Ocean Avenue and repairing and RESOLUTION #395 resurfacing a portion of Seventeenth Street and Delaware Avenue ; a copy of which is on file in the office of the Clerk, and on motion by Trustee Onson, seconded bj7 Trustee Macklin, -cesolution #395 was passed and adopted by the following vote: Ayes : Trustees Onson, Macklin, Andrews & Drew. Noes: Trustees Toone , Absent; Trustee Obarr. BIDS FOR PAVING & On motion by Trustee Macklin, seconded by Trustee LIGHTING OCEAN AVE. ; Onson, the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids REPAIRING & :' SURF- for paving and lighting Ocean Avenue ; for repairing ACING PORTIONS OF and resurfacing portions of Seventeenth Street and 17th & DELAWARE AVE. Delaware Avenue , same to be in accordance with plans and Specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer, bids to be received up to the hour of 8: P. 1. June 18th, 1923.
