Gene 1,uditorium- Gibson, requesting permission to use the Audi- E. Gene Gibson torium for an entertainment at some date about the middle of July. On motion by Trustee Obarr , seconded by Trustee Andrews , the request was taken under consideration. Arrival Trustee Trustee Macklin arrived at 8:04 2. IA. REQUEST AMALGAi0Q4TED A communication from the Amalgamated. Oil Company OIL 0011 ZANY- Iwas presented, requesting a permit to run a '2200 to run 2200 volt volt high tension electric line over certain streets, -- high tension elec`• accompanied by blue print sketches of the proposed tric line over line . certain streets On motion by Trustee Macklin, seconded by Trustee Obarr, a- temporary permit was granted subject to the installation conforming to the state code and City Ordinance , and approval by the City Engineer, and on the further condition that the line was not to be used for public utility purposes. PAVING & LIGHTING A_ _ petition signed by thirty property owners on 10th'Street loth Street , requesting that the Board take steps to have loth Street paved , from Ocean Avenue to 2almn also lighting system installed . On motion by Trustee Obarr seconded by Trustee Andrews , the application was accepted and the City Engineer instructed to prepare plans and specifications for improving loth Street. CITY WLTER TO BE President Drew brought up the subject of the City Water TESTED FOR PURITY now being furnished and after discussion a motion was offered by Trustee Macklin, seconded by Trustee Unson that the Health Officer be instructed to apply to the State Board of Health, June 19th for propF- equipment for taking samples of the City water for analysis and to proceed immediately with such action as teas necessary to provide the city with pure water.
