Pursuant to adjournment , September llth, regular
REGULAR meeting was called to order at 2:00 B. ILdl. by President
"crew.
Trustees .Present: Onson, Obarr, Andrews , Drew
ROLL CALL Trustees Absent 171acklin.
The request of the Huntington Beach Athletic Club ,
REQUEST accompanied by $5.00 in currency was p' esented, asking �
B ATHLETIC permission to hold a boxing exhibition on Friday, -
UB GRANTED September 14th at 214 5th Street . �
On motion by Trustee Obarr, seconded by Trustee Onson
the application was granted. i
R. E. t1right appeared befo,e the Board and advised
them that he would remove the building from the City �
RE WRIGHT TO grounds as soon as possible , he having been notified
FMIOVE BUILDINGS that he should vacate September 15th.
AS SOON AS POSSIBLE i
Resolution 1t399, providing for certain work on Ocean 4
Avenue and instructing the City Clerk to advertise for 1f
RESOLUTION # 399 bids for same was read., a copy of which is on file in i
PASSED AND ADOPTED the office of the City Clerk, and on motion by Trustee
Onson, seconded by Trustee Obarr was passed and adopted
by the following votes:
AYES TRUSTEES, Onson, Obarr, Andrews , Dxew
140ES TRUSTEES , NONE I
ABSENT, TRUSTraS, Macklin.
The condition df 14th Street between Palm & Main was
discussed and on motion by Trustee Obarr, seconded by
14th ST.-ET TO ICE Trustee Andrews the City Engineer was instructed to
GRADED AND grade 14th Street , from Palm to aain, and surface' with
SURFACED decomposed granite.

On motion by Trustee Onson, seconded by Andrews, the
FILL AND GRADE Street Superintendent was instructed to fill and grade
.WALNUT AVE. Walnut Avenue between First and Second Streets.
On motion by Trustee Obarr , seconded by Onson, the
PROCURE ILAP OF City Engineer was instructed to procure a large map of
H. B. TO USE the City of Huntington Beach for the use in the Council -
IN COUNCIL ROOM Room.
On motion by Trustee Onson, seconded by Trustee Andrews
.ADVERTISE OLD the Clerk was instructed to advertise the o1. City Hall
CITY BALL FOR for rent. r
RENT
On motion by Trustee Obarr, seconded by Trustee Andrews
the Board adjourned to ittonday 8:00 P. ;I. September 17th.
