Fire Chid to 'Trustee :Macklin brought up the subject of protection to swimmers
purchase Einotirer at the beach with especial reference to the locati ons of the pull.-motor,
pulmotor and r,ihetller or not any one was available for emergencies who is
competent to operate it.
To give instructions mire. Chief Tinsley was called and the matter further discussed ,
for use of pull- : -and on motion by Trustee Obarr seconded by Trustee 1.1acklin, Chief d "
motor. Tinsley was instructed to bt,.y an addition�_:l pullmotor to be Iz gat.
in the Fire Department and to endeavor to have several competent
persons , preferably about the plunge , instructed in the use of a
pullmotor.
In this connection the Clerk was .instructed to write to Mrs.
Lynn I,obb , President of the local fed Cross , advising her of the
action of the Board.
