Trustees Present: FJharton, Macklin, Boster, Ridenour. Roll Call Trustees Absent: Drew. Conununication addressed to Huntington Beach Company signed by Trustee Communication to Drew and Trustee Boster as a committee appointed to negotiate a lease for Huntington Beach an Auto Camp site was read. Also a reply signed by Mr. Lawshe as manager Co. Also reply. of the Company suggested that proposal be amended to read that the rental stated be �6.e1.00 per year plus City and County taxes. Upon motion by Trustee Macklin seconded by Trustee Wharton the Clerk was instructed to advise the Huntington Beach Company that this arrangement was satisfactory. In response to the letter written by the Clerk on the instructions of Chamber of Comm. the Board, the Chamber of Commerce submitted a detailed statement. Trustee Wharton Seconded by Trustee Boster offered a motion as follows: That the proceeding for the improvement of Orange Avenue under Resolution of Intention #430 be repealed and abandoned which was passed by the follow- Resolution of ing vote: Intention #430 to be repealed" Ayes: Trustees Wharton, Macklin, Boster, Ridenour. and abandoned. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee Drew. Trustee Macklin stated before voting that the old Board had acted in good faith in specifying Willite pavement for Orange Avenue as they believed that it was the best type to lay, but it appearing that the majority of the present Board believed otherwise that he had decided to vote 'ryes" on this motion. Trustee Boster seconded by Trustee Wharton offered a motion as follows: That the proceeding for the improvement of 14th Street under Resolution of Intention #432 be repealed and abandoned.
