Trustees present: Trustees '10,harton, Macklin, Boster,
011 C,`.LL Ridenour.
Trustees absent: Trustee Drew.
PROTEST S. A. Moore made verbal protest against the values
.j. placed upon Lots 14-15 Watson Addition and the Assessor
` I [ called attention to the fact that a reduction of 15�

had already been made from the values assessed for 1923.
._,.�, W. R. Chandler made verbal protest against the value
C11,,, D1:: 1 ii of Lot 3 Block #1802 Tract 12.
u 3 J1,OSA 113rs. Rosa Griffith made verbal protest against the
11I ' 'ITH value assessed on a portion of. Block #2007 1k #2008
East Side Villa Tract.
Verbal protests were also presented. by B. F. Rockhold,
- Ford, H. Shoemaker
F7 OD .RTy Block 907 ; Mrs. E. S. 1owd, Block ; 908; J. ,
Block #1007 and I. B . Moore , Block #1008 , all in the
Vista Del Mar Tract.
Y1:,;,t� R. Taylor made verbal protest against the value placed
on Block #2108 East Side Villa. .
PRO Ell TS All of the above property owners were informed that
�<<, 1;rT., -` j11� a reduction. had already been made by the Assessor from
CO c T1��1i- the values used, last year and th-at the matter would be
taken. under consideration.
T„^ ,,1.,,, ,,, D, S W. T. Newland stated to the. Board that he believed the
1'I:0'1' ',C`I' value placed on the Newland. Borchard land south 'of
Atlanta Street and hora4MVtq d n the east City Limits was
excessive and especially iiT view of the facit that no
benefit was being received from the use of the tax money
in this portion of the City in. which his acreage was
located. The President advised ',Ir. Newland the matter
would be given due consideration.
C . R. Johnson appeared before the Board and called
C.R. JOHNS014 ' S attention to the acreage value placed on hills land as
PROTEST compared with the Brown property ad joining him on the
easterly side of Delaware Avenue. Upon checking up the
matter, it was found that the discrepancy had arisen
u12F,J� I1T in the use of different percentage the prior year and
:PERCEXT 1, : 5 the Assessor recommended to the Board that the value be
L;S aT),. adjusted on Mr. John"sore' s land. On motion by Trustee
1,1acklin seconded by Trustee 1 harton all protests were
overruled except that of C . R. Johnson' s and the Assessor
was instructed to reduce the value of Parcel J35 from
12 ,580.to 0, 9 ,110.
