REGUZ��R Pursuant to adjournment August 18, the regular meeting
was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by President Ridenour.
Trustees Present: Wharton, Macklin, Boster, Drew, Ridenour.
ROLL CALL Trustees Absent: None.
A communication signed by the American_ Legion was read,

AT_TERICAIT LEGION. endorsing the plan of a "National Defense Test Day" which
has been set by the President of the United States for
September 12, 1924. After considerable discussion, Trustee
Drew Seconded by Trustee Macklin moved that the Board
NATIONAL DEFENSE endorse the program and that the Chair be instructed to

Mr. Harris of the Associated Oil Company addressed the

LIBRARY BOARD. fill vacancies on the Huntington Beach Library Board.
PERT:IIT TO CUT CURB GRAIvTED. Permit was granted to cut curb at 516-10th Street.
