The regular meeting was called to order at 7 : 30 P. 114. by PresidEnt

MINUTES APPROV- Upon completion of the reading of the minutes for the month of
ED December, the same were approved on motion by Trustee Mlacklin secord ed
by Trustee Wharton.
The monthly reports of the Treasurer, Clerk, Recorder, Building
I,IONTHLY REPORTS Inspector and Advertising Agent were read and approved on motion by
APPROVED Trustee Macklin seconded by Trustee Boster .
COTII/NNICATION A letter from the Orange County Branch of the Builders Exchange
�. was read with reference to a uniform building code and on motion by

City Engineer Billings complying with instructions at a previous
meeting submitted recommendations regarding the planting of vines in

Auto Park in the form of a letter from Archer and Vavra. After

3 The Board was again called to order and the Clerk announced that

ASSESST!IENT DIAGRAI.1 benefited by the -improvement of Orange Avenue from Lake Street
FOR ORANGE AVE APPROVEDto Eleventh Street which was approved on motion by Trustee
Wharton seconded by Trustee Macklin.
A map of tract 7r734 located near Wintersburg was presented
BOARD GRANTS APPROVAL for approval which was granted on motion by Trustee 14acklin
OF 1AAP OF TRACT 1#734 seconded by Trustee Drew.
A letter from the Parent Teadiers Association was read
suggesting that the City plant one or two pine trees for use as. �
COLUJIUNICA`l'ION h DTA' Community Christmas trees in the years to come and offering
PARENT TEACHERS ASSO. to supply the trees. On motion by Trustee T;Tacklin seconded by
SUGGESTS PLANTING Trustee Boster the Controller was instracted� to write the
XMAS TREES Parent Teachers Association accepting their offer and stating
that the City would plant and care for the trees , the location
to be designated later.
The question of adaquate drainage at the intersection of
Engineer ITISTRUC`i'ED First Street and Ocean Avenue was discussed and on motion by
TO INSTALL DRAIN AT Trustee IP:+harton seconded by Trustee 11acklin the Engineer
1ST & OCEAN was instructed to install an adaquate drain at the above point,
same to be connected with the catch basin_ located at that point.
