ROLL CALL Trustees present: Wharton, Durr_ir_g, Boster, Drew, Ridenour. Trustees absent None. IJINUTES APPROVED `i''he minutes for the month of November were read and on motion by Trustee Drew, seconded by Trustee Dunning were approved. Reports of the various officers were read and on motion by iaiONTHhY REPORTS Trustee Dunning- seconded by Trustee 10harton_ were approved and ordered. APPROVED filed. On motion by Trustee !�`iharton_, seconded by Trustee Drew the BLEVIN & VANNIER application of Blevin and Vansier bearing the endorsement of Chief POOL HALL LICENSE of Police Tinsley for- the renewal of license. to operate a pool hall APPROVED at 203 Main Street was approved. TRANSFER OF FUNDS On motion by Trustee Boster, seconded by Trustee Drew and carried. the City Treasurer was instructed to transfer $1935.00 from the Gas Fund to Gas No. 1 , Interest and Redemption_ fund. The Clerk read a communication from the Water Conservation Association of Riverside, California, in i'hich this City was asked COLUJUNICATION to furnish the Association with data, showing the approximate location FROM WATER CONSER- of water swells from which the City secured its water supply. On VATION ASSO. OF motion by Trustee Dunning, seconded by Trustee l*,^harton_ the City RIVERSIDE Engineer was instructed to confer with the Huntington Beach v',ater' Company and secure the desired information' and communicate same to the Association. On motion by Trustee �'iharton, seconded by Trustee Dunning DEMANDS APPROVED Demands No. 5103 to 5223 inclusive as set forth in the Clerks Cash Journal, having been approved by the Finance Committee and signed by the President of the Board of Trustees were allowed. At this time. the Chair invited those in the audience having matters to brir:g-before the Board to do so at this time. ATTENTION CALLED R. F. Patrick called attention to the manner in which trash TO DUMPING OF TRASH was being dumped on the City dump grounds by the street sweeper, and asked that it be dumped in the sump on the grounds. Street Super- inter-dent- Billings informed the Board that this Was being done. IRSUFFICIEtdT SIGN- 1.1r. Patrick informed .the Board that on account of the number of ERS ON PETITION TO property owners on and along Eighteenth Street living out of the PAVE 18TH ST. City he felt that he would be unable to secure e, 51 per cent signed petition_ in favor of paving and lighting Eighteenth Street. On motion b, Trustee - Dreww, seconded by Trustee Boster and PROCEEDINGS FOR carried, all further prooeedin_gs for the improvement of Eighteenth 18TH ST. LAID OVER. Street were laid over to the next meeting,, Monday December 14th, 1925, at 7 : 30 o ' clock P. hi. and .the City Engineer was instructed to interview interested property owners and secure definite informa- tion as to what was wanted in the matter of improvement of Eighteenth Street. This beir_,g the time for hearing objections to the issuance of RESOLUTION NO. 541 Bonds to covet., the- unpaid assessments for the improvement of ORDERING ISSUAN-CL Twelfth Street from Ocean_ Avenue to ? Avenue in accordance with OF BONDS FOR 12TH published notices the Clerk informed the Board that no objections STREET had been filed, therefore Resolution_ No. 541, authorizing the issuance of these bonds was read , a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, and on motion by Trustee Boster, seconded by Trustee Drew was passed and adopted by the following vote: 'iyes: Trustees lharton, Durx.ing, Boster, Drew, Ridenour. VOTE Noes : tone. Absent : None . This being the time for hearing objections to the issuance of Bonds to cover the unpaid assessments for the improvement of Walnut RESOLUTION N06 542 Avenue from Seventeenth Street to Eleventh Street in accordance with ORDERING ISSUANCE published notices the Clerk informed the Board that no objections OF BONDS FOR WALNUT has been filed, therefore Resolution No. 542, authorizing the issu- AVE-. ance of these Bonds was read, a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, and on motion by Trustee Dunning, seconded by Trustee �ldha,rton was passed and adopted by the following vote : Ayes : Trustees Wharton, Dunning, Boster, Dre.,, Ridenour. WOMANS CLUB ADVISED Trustee Duilsiing informed the Board that Mrs. DoliQiS, TO COMPLY WITH PRESENT President of the lVo^pans ' Club desired information regard- BUILDIltiG ORDIlWiCE ing building restrictions in the district in the vicinity of the present Club House:.. After some discussion_ the opinion_ was expressed that the present building Ordin_m�ce should be followed and complied with.
