Pursuant to adjournment of October llth,1926 the Board was,
called to order at 7 :00 o'clock P M by President Boater.

Light 17th & the installation of an electric light at the intersection

for report at the next meeting.

A letter._from the President of the Board of Trustees of
Invitation. t o the. City of `'anta Ana inviting the Board to attend the
Board to armistice day celebration November llth was read and on motion
=attend A.rmi.s-by Trustee Wharton seconded by Trustee Mitchell the City Clerk
ti ce Celer.r. . was instructed to advise the Santa Dina Board that the invitation
is accepted and that this Board would enter the parade with
a decorated car on that date.
The a plication of the Superior Oil Company to take down
.�_dovin lamp posts in the 17th Street oil section was referred to the
E{'Ixt roles City Engineer# on motion by Trustee Harris seconded by Trustee
Nharton.

The application of A R Prink to cut. curb and construct
Cut curb garage entrance at 712 loth Street was on motion by Trustee
Wharton seconded by Trustee Iditchell allowed.
The application of the Standard Oil Company to cut curb
and construct driveways at lot 14 Block 220, 1ot 11 Block

was on motion by Trustee Mitchell seconded by Trustee `Idharton
granted.
The application of Joseph Groves for exempt license to
Jiink collect junk in the City of Huntington Beach was referred to
the City Clerk to comply with existing ordinances.
On motion by Trustee Harris seconded by Trustee Wharton
the following bonds were approved and ordered filed.

Thomas Haverty Company,plumbing.
The application, of I,irs Henry P Lots to build and
conduct a restaurpt (size of bmilding 20 x 24 ft) on the
Rest^urant East side of 17th was on motion by Trustee Harris seconded
17th St by Trustee 7,harton denied.
The application of AHLBURG GASOLINE CORPORATION to lay
qcs Lines gasolines along certain streets as per agreement now on file
in the office of the City Clerk was referred to the City
engineer with authority to issue permit in accordance with
ordinances and resolutions now on file on motion by Trustee
Harris, seconded by Trustee INharton, put and carried.
Ord-288 The Clerk gave Ordinance No 288 requiring that gas companies
Gps meters and others secure permit before installing or removing gas meters
in the City, its first reading -at this time.
The application of the Miley Oil Company to erect poles for
Electric lines in Block 120 was referred to the City Engineer
:Ailey. Oil Co with authority to grant permission on motion by Trustee 'ilharton
y El-ect Lines seconded by Trustee Farris.
