City Hall, Jan l0th,1927
Pursuant to adjournment of January 3rd the meeting was called
to order at 7:00 o'clock PM by President Boster,
Trustees present, Mitchell,Sl;ank ., Harris, Boster
Trustee absent Wharton
Communication from M G Jones Supt of the High school to paint
Paint Curb High curb in fromt of the High school was referred to the Street Supt,
School with instructions to act.
On motion by Trustee Shank,seconded by Trustee Mitchell
Skating Rink permission was granted J M Barlow to erect and operate a tent
and portable rotler skating rink on Block 205 fronting 5th Street.
On motion by Trustee Shank, seconded by Trustee Mitchell the
Wayne Y Mood appointment by Chief Tinsley of Wayne Y Wood as bolice officer
policeman was confirmed and approved and the City Clerk was instructed to
file oath of office for same.

Adair Bldg rear of lot 10 B1 204, was on motion by Trustee Harris seconded by
Trustee Shank, Granted.

The Clerk gave Ordinance No 296 its second/reading and on
Ord 296 motion by Trustee Ha.rris,seconded by Trustee Shank Ordinance No 296
was passed and adopted by the following vote:
Ayes, Trustees Mitchell,Shank,Harris,Boster
Noes Trustees None
Absent Trustee Wharton.
The Clerk gave Ordinance No 297 its second and final reading and
Ord 297 on motion by Trustee Harris seconde&. by Trustee Mitchell Ordinance
No 297 was passed and adopted by the following vote,:
Ayes Trustees Mtchell,Shank, Harris, Boster
Noes Trustees None
Absent Trustees Wharton
- A statement was submitted by Dale M Peters local manager of the
Burn St lights Southern California Edison Company in which it was shown that to
discontinue lighting west of 17th Street it wolld be possible
all night to burn lights East of 17th Street all night at a nominal
additional cost not to exceed the present lighting cost more than
one dollar per month.
On motion by Trustee Mitchell, seconded by Trustee Harris the
Southern California Edison Company was authorized to proceed to
do disconnect lighting west of Pth Street and light the district east
of 17th Street between the hours of sunset and sunrise daily,
President Boster announced the following committes to serve
Committes for in making preparation and entertaining the Orange County, Peace
Peace Officers Officers at their meeting in the City Auditorium, on evening of Feb 2nd:
Food Committee. . . . . . . . . Wharton and Mitchell
meeting Music Harris and Shank
Decorations Thedieck and Furr
Reception Boster,Wharton,Mitchell,Shank,Harris
Thedieck,Furr,Mrs sager,Mrs Brose,Mrs Newland,Mrs
Mosier and Miss Rardin.
There being no further business on motion by Trustee Harris ►
