Roll Call Trustees present; Wharton, Mitchell , Shank, Harris , Boster Trustees absent None Communications were read from members of the Baptist Church and Request to the officers of the Ladies Aid, requesting that truck-drivers be re-route asked to change their routes to streets other than Oran E.e Avenue Truck Drivers and Sixth and Orange Avenue and Eleventh during the hours of worship on Sunday' s on S undays. The Clerk was instructed to give publicity to this matter through the Newspaper and the Chief of Police instructed to communicate with the local Truck Companies , requesting that they route their trucks on other streets bet,,ieen the hours of Eleven o ' clock and T�7elve noon on Sundays . Request for A communication fro_n Mr. W. B. 1andeville , Jr. , was read by 'the use of Blk. Clerk , reauesting the use of park -oroperty in Block 505 on the second 505 for Boy and fourth Thursday' s , for drill grounds for the local Boy Scout. Troops Scouts by and on motion by Trustee S hank, seconded by Trustee Harris , the request Mandeville was granted. A communication from the H. B. Umion Hia;h School Board., requested Relative to that the City take necessary action t�ion to have water mains extended of adequate water sufficient size to provide adaauate water for fire protection at the protection High School Building. On motion by Trustee Shank , seconded by Trustee at High School 'IVharton, the co.rmunica.tion was referred to the City Attorney and City Engineer for investigation and report at the next meeting. 'Nhittam a�-dressed the Board in regard to the inadaquacy more bleachers of the seating c:a.pacity at the Niv;ht Base-ball Grounds and requested at base-ba.11 that the Board Nrovid.e teao additional sections of bleachers, On park. motion by Trustee Wharton, seconded by Trustee Mitchell , the City Engineer--hras instructed to have two additional sections of bleachers erected. Request by Mr. George La.,nrey addressed the Board, requesting permission to Geo . La^srey have boys �,vorki.ng for him sell peanuts at the ball games. Members for his boys of the Board reported that many small boys were peddling peanuts , candy, to sell pea- magazines etc. , from house to house and becoming a nuisance by calling' nuts at ball people to their doors many tir::es a day. It was suggested that all games . boys working under a licensed peddler be provided by such peddler with identification slips , showing who they were working for and the number of the license. On motion by Trustee Shank, seconded by Trustee W°harton, the question of selling near_uts at the ball games and house to house peddling by boys , was referred to the Chief of Police. Request to cross tracks The Clerk read a communication from Mr. C. A. Bai ley requesting to deliver that the Pacific Ice Cream Company' s delivery wagon be permitted to �. Ice cream to cross the P. E. Tracks. at Ocean Ave, and Main at. to make delivery concessions of ice to his concessions. On r;otion by Trustee Harris , seconded by Trustee Shank , the matter was referred to the Chief of Police with instructions that wagons be permitted to cross the tracks and make deliveries.
