The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach was called to order by President Boster at 8:00 PM. Roll call Trustees present: Wharton, Mitchell , Shank, Harris , Boster. Trustee Wharton In the absence of the City Clerk, the President of the Board clerk pro tem appointed Trustee Wharton Clerk pro tempore. The Clerk read the minutes of the meetings held during the Minutes read month of June , 1927 and on motion by Trustee Wharton, seconded by for June Trustee Harris , same were approved as read. A communication was read -from Mr L E Miller , Mayor Pro tem of the City of Anaheim addressed to Mr C G Boster, Mayor inviting Invitation to the Trustees and their-wives to attend the dedication of the Open dedication at Air Theatre located in the Park on N. Lemon Street, Anaheim, July Anaheim 15, 1927• The Clerk was instructed to reply to the letter advising of the number of reservations required. The Clerk read a letter from City Attorney A J Thedieck Closing of'. 16 stating that the necessary proceedings for the closing of a portion St & Hartford of 16th St. , the abandonment of Indianapolis St. R. R. Crossing and St Crossing the opening of Hartford St. Crossing were in course of preparation and would be presented at the next meeting. The monthly reports of the City Clerk, City Treasurer, City Monthly Recorder and City Engineer were read and on motion by Trustee Harris , reports seconded by Trustee Shank, were accepted and ordered filed. On motion by Trustee Wharton, seconded by Trustee Shank, demands Demands paid numbered 7912 to 8034 were allowed. The Clerk read Resolution No 593 adopting plans and specificatiors for the installation of a sanitary sewer in Block 910, and on motion Res. NO 593 by Trustee Wharton, seconded by Trustee Mitchellm same were adopted by the following vote: AYES: Trustees , Wharton,Mitchell , Shank , Harris , Boster. NOES: Trustees, NOne ABSENT: Trustees , None.
