THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGT'ON BEACH

Pursuant to call duly signed and executed, the original of
which is attached hereto and made a part of these minutes , the
y ` ° Board was _called to order at 7:30 P. M. , July 18, 1927.
Trustees present, Boster , Wharton, Mitchell , Shank,
Roll Call Trustees absent , Harris.
In the absence of the City Clerk , the President of the
Trustee WhaxtoRoard appointed Trustee Wharton, Clerk pro-tempore.

After reading the order calling the special meeting, the
President of the Board declared a recess for an informal dis-

The meeting was again called to order at 9:10 P.M. and

The Clerk read a communication from Mr. C. J. Yoat , Street
Trash collect- Superintendent , advising that the tradh collections under the

On motion by Trustee Shank,tseconded by Trustee Wharton,
the City Attorney was instructed to write to the Trash Contractor
advising that complaints had been made indicatingthat terms of
the contract had not been cotplied with and that should he fail
City Attorney to adjust matters to the satisfaction of the Board of Trustees
writes to Trashby August lst , the contract would be cancelled.
