BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY' OFF
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA,
CITY HALL, - July 19 , 1927.

Pursuant to call duly signed and executed, the original of -�
which is attached hereto and made a part of these minutes , the
Board was ,called to order at 12:30 P.M. , July 19 , 1927.

Trustees present, Boster , Wharton, Mitchell , Harris.
Roll call Trustees absent, Shank.
In the absence of the City Clerk , the President of the Board
Trustee Wharton appointed Trustee 'Wharton Clerk pro—tem.

Report b rpeeting and called on Mr. Chandler , health department inspector
P y who made a report 'onthe garbage situation and expressed t,e opinion
health dept . that the cause for complaints no longer existed and that the service
inspector in the future would be satisfactory.
The Ordinance requiring that surface casing be set in all oil
Surface casing wells at a depth of 300 or more feet was discussed and the Board
discussed was addrd.ssed by several interested parties on the -subject.

On motion by Trustee Harris, seconded by Trustee Wharton,
To prepare Ord. the City Attorney was instructed to prepare an ordinance repealing
repealing Ord. ordinance No. 282, by the following vote:

AYES: Trustees , Wharton, Mitchell, Harris , Boster . f
NOES: Trustees, Ngne J
ABSENT: TRUSTEES, Shank.
Adjourned. On motion by Trustee Harris , seconded by Trustee ?'Parton, the
meeting was adjourned.
