A Roll Call Councilmen present, Andrews, Mitchell , Shank, Harris , Boster. The Clerk read the minutes for the month of January and Minutes read for on motion by Harris seconded by Mitchell same were approved Y January as read.. This being the time set for opening and examining bids for furnishing the City with a one or one and one-half ton Bids for truck truck , (chassis and cab) the Clerk opened and read the foll- opened owing bids , the original of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk and open for public inspection. This being the dame set by the City Clerk and City Council for hearing objections against the issuance of bonds to cover unpaid assessments for the improvement of alleys running through Blocks 810, 811 and 912 by installation of Resolution #605 a sanitary sewer, the Clerk after informing the Council that passed and adopted no objections had been received, read Resolution No 605 authorizing bonds , and on motion by Harris seconded. by Andrews same was passed and adopted by the following votes; Ayes , Cotincilmen Andrews , Mitchell , Harris , Boster. On motion by Harris seconded by Mitchell the City Attorney r was directed to prepare amendment U Ordinance No 309 making Amend Ora 3 thelicense for moving;.1 vansr�at the rate of $5.00 per trip Moving van rate reduced into and out of the City. Examine Scout On motion by Mitchell seconded by Harris the City cabin roof Nngineer was instructed to examine the roof of the Boy Scout cabin and report condition ,at . the next meeting. On motion by Mitchell seconded by Harris the City RE: Engineer and Fire Chief were directed to confer with the Water situation I Huntington Beach Water Company and. a representative of the of City Board of Fire underwriters and determine what is the best solution of the water situation in the City. Repair street On motion by Mitchell seconded by Harris the Street Swat entrance to Pier was directed to make repairs of street entrance to the Mun- icipal Pier to -orevert water standing.
