City Hall, Feb. 27th, 1928.

Pursuant to adjournment of February 20th the Council was
called to order at 7 PM by Mayor Boster.
Roll call Councilmen present: Andrews, Mitchell , Shank, Harris, Boster.
The Clerk read the following applications:
Fannie Stephens, to operate lunch stand at concessions
Business applicatiKS and 23 Huntington Beach Co Bldg, Ocean front* Manons & Son,
granted cafe, 416 Ocean Ave; Susana Champion, -Hotel 210? Main Street,
and on motion by Shank seconded by Mitchell the Clerk was auth-
orized to issue license in accordance with Ordinances in effect.
Pool apolication The Application of Al Salton to operate pool and billiard
granted parlor at 203 Main Street was on motion by Shank seconded by
Mitchell approved.
On motion by Shank seconded by Mitchell the Southern Counties

9 motion by Andrews seconded by Harris the City Controller was

On motion by Harris seconded by Shank the City Engineer
and City Controller were directed to attend meeting with various

Metropolitan Water Act passed by the 1Q27 Legislature.
Ord No 316 passed The Clerk gave Ordinance No 316 calling the General Municipal
and adopted Election its second and last reading and on motion by Shank
seconded by Andrews Ordinance No 316 was passed and adopted by the
following vote: ,
Ayes Councilmen Andrewp, 1itchell, Shank, Harris, Boster.

City Engineer Rosson submitted a, letter form Burns-McDbnnel-
Smith Consulting Engineers of 422 Western Pacific Building, Los
