adjourned . Council until 9:30 AM, June 2nd, 1928.

r Pursuant to adjournment of May 28th, the Council was called to
arder at 9:30 AM by May`,or Bowen.
Roll call Councilmen present: Botiaen,llitchell,Butcher,Conrad, Harris.
Recess for At this time , 9:40 AM, Mlayor Bowen declared a recess for the
executive seesiogouncil to go into executive session.
The Council was again called to order at 10:50 AM by Mayor Bowen.
Motion-Resign. of The following ;motion by Councilman Harris "That the resignation
Chief of Police of Chief of Police R. Gloat be accepted" which was seconded by
accepted qouncilma.n Mitchell and motion lost on the following vote:
Motion Ayes Councilmen Iitchell, Harris,
Lost Noes Councilmen Butcher , Conrad, Bowen.
R Choat made Following motion by Councilman Butcher , seconded by Councilman
Chief of Police Conrad: "That R. Gloat be made Chief of Police" motion put and
carried by the following vote:
Ayes Councilmen Butcher , Conrad, Bowen.
Noes Councilmen Mitchell , Harris.
Motion to reinstate Motion by Harris that V F Mohn, Wayne Wood and George Kesterson
certain officersbe reinstated on the Police .force was seconded by Mitchell, put and
carried carried by the following vote:
Aves Councilmen Butcher, Mitchell, Harris,
Noes Councilmen Conrad, Bowen.
Chief Choat ad- At .this time Chief Choat was called into the Council Chamber and
wised of appointadvised of his appointment as Police Chief.
Motion to recon- Following motion by Councilman Butcher "That the motion to rein-
sider reinstate- state Mohn, Wood and Kesterson on. the Po i-ice force be reconsidered"
ment of officers which was seconded by Conrad, put and carried by the following vote:
Ayes Councilmen Butcher, Mitchell , Conrad, Bowen
Noes Councilman Harris
Gene Belshe On motion by Conrad seconded by llitchell" tbhe appointbrnent of Gene
Life guard. Belshe as life guard at a, salary of $150.00 per month was confirmed.
Adjourned On motion by Conrad seconded by B,.� er the Council adjourned.
