Mitchell absent Councilmen present: Butcher, Conrad, Harris , Bowen;. Councilman absent : Mitchell. Representative of Gilbert, Western end Stearns addressed the Council and asked that consideration be given his company in their bid on electrical work on the Main and Ocean intersection lighting. No action was taken. Engineer Ronson The Clerk read a letter and analysis of bids from Engineer submits r Rosson in which Mr Rosson suggested � that all bids be rejected, and commendation the work of installation of ornamental lights , sign and signal be Action deferred done by day labor. On motion by Conrad seconded by Harris action was deferred until 7:30 PM Monday January 14th, 1929. , Attorney Blodget addressed the Council and. explained the Blodget techtica.l points in the manufacture of Neon signs. He informed the Re- Neon signs Council that he did not believe the City would be liable for damages in installing Neon light signs. Ben Munn A letter from the 0 C Field Gasoline Co stating that the derrick not derrick in the rear of their plant in block 61, owned by Ben Munn 1pet guyed had not been properly guyed. The complaint was referred. ..to Engineer Rosson. .Griffin-Cryder The application of Griffin-Cryder to operate pool and pool hall billiard parlor at 203 Main Street was approved.
