HomeMy WebLinkAbout1929-07-22 446 M I N U T E S City Hall July 22nd, 1929 Pursuant to adjournment the Council was called to order at 7:30 PM by Mayor Bowen: Councilmen present: Bowen, Butcher, Mitchell , Harris. absent: Conrad The Mayor appointed Councilman Harris on the Finance Committee - in the absence of Councilman Conrad. At the request of Engineer Rosson, on motion by Harris seconded r Pier by Mitchell an expense fund was furnished Engineer Rosson for use in pier investigation. Chamber of The Clerk read a letter from the Chamber of Commerce Commerce requesting the emplo;�ment of an Advertising Agent by the City, also that an amount of ,000 be set aside in the City Budget for use of the Chamber of Commerce. May Jackson On motion by Harris seconded by Butcher Mrs May Jackson was made Ad.v Agt. appointed Advertising Agent for the City at a salary of $100 per month commencing 'July lst, 1929 , to serve at the pleasure of the Council. No deed for Palladino Lots yet furnished by Attorney.
