No Quorum the Clerk adjourned the meeting of the Council until 10:00 o'clock a.m.

City Hall, Huntington Beach, March 19,1930
Pursuant to adjournment of March 18th, the Council was called to ;
order at 10:00 o 'clock am. by Mayor Bowen.
Councilmen present: Bowen,Conrad,Mitchell,Harris,
Butcher absent Absent Councilman: Butcher
In the absence of Councilman Butcher the Mayor appointed Council-
man Harris on the Finance Committee.
Oil well The Council engaged in a discussion of the advisability of oil
restrictions drilling restrictions in the vicinity of the beach front and it was
agreed to meet and consider a resolution to increase Fire District No.l
on the morning of March 20th.
Topping The application of W R McKee to erect and operate a.�topping plant
pp g plant in the vicinity of the corner of Park and Springfield streets: was re—
ferred to the City Engineer.
Demands On motion by Mitchell seconded by Conrad demands approved by the
Finance Committee were ordered paid.
Engineer Rosson submitted a permit from the United States Wax
- Pier Department authorizing the extension of the Municipal pier 500 feet
seaward. Same was ordered filed.
On motion by Harris seconded by Conrad the Council adjourned
until 9:00 o'clock a.m. Thursday March 20th, 0._ -
