Horse Shoe Club
Bldg.
City Hall, Monday December 28th, 1931.
Pursuant to adjournment of December 21st, the City Council
met and was called to order at 10:00 o'clock A.M. by Mayor Conrad.
Councilmen present: Conrad, Huston, King.
Councilmen absent: Stevens, Butcher.
Mayor Conrad appointed Councilman Huston on the Finance
Committee.
The Clerk read a letter from Geo. F. Getty Company in
which they agree to remove overhead pipe lines, Block 420 at
the expiration of 120 days after same have been installed,
provided that they are so notified to do so by the City
Council, also that they would protect the City against all
damage resulting from the installation and operation of the
pipe line. Letter ordered filed.
On rAo tion by Huston seconded by King demands approved
by the Finance Committee were ordered paid.
On motion by King seconded by Huston the City engineer
was directed to prepare plans and estimate for enlarging
Horse Shoe Club building by glassing in porch and present
at 'next meeting.
On motion by Huston seconded by King the Chief of
Police car
additional partpolice was authorized to purchase bullet proof wind shield
for Police Essex car.
The meeting adjourned on motion by King seconded by
Huston.
