City Hall, Friday December 30th, 1932.
There being no quorum present the Clerk adjourned the
meeting of the City Council.

VIC City Council met in regular session at 7; 30 PM.
In the, absence of Mayor Conrad, the Clerk called the meeting to order.
Councilmen present; Marion, Huston, Stevens, King.
Councilmen absent; Conrad.
On motion by Huston seconded by Marion, Councilman King was appointed
Mayor and.Chairman pro-tem of the Council.
Miriutew Minutes for the month of December were approved as read on motion
by Stevens seconded by Huston.
Re -Do rts The Clerk read monthly reports of the City Clerk, City Treasurer,
City Judge, Chief of Police, City Engineer, Sup't. of Streets, and Building
Inspector, and on motion by Stevens seconded by Marion same were accepted
and ordered filed.
Golf Course The Clerk read application of Don Blackburn, of Huntington Park
for management of ,the Municipal Gold' Course. Ordered filed.
Bank �Ba1. Attorney Overacker informed the Council that the time for filing
is t State Bnk.
suit .on the claim against the Sup1 t. of Banks to recover from the First
State Bank in Liquidation would expire in a few days and recommended action
by the Council.
Following motion by Stevens "That the City Attorney be instructed
to bring an action against State Sup't. of Banks, Ed Rainey, to recover on
claim presented to the State Sup't. of Banks on or about July 9th, 1932.
Said Claim being for recovery of City funds on deposit with the First State
Bank of Huntington Beach, now in liquidation. That City Treasurer Harvey S.
Young be designated as the one to verify the complaint". Motion seconded
by Huston, put and carried unanimously.
Demands On motion by Stevens seconded by Marion demands approved by the
Finance Committee were ordered naid.
The Council adjourned until, 7;30 PM Mo1933.
