City Hall, Friday January 20th, 1933
Pursuant to adjournment of January 17th, the City.Council
met and was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor Conrad.
Councilmen present: Conrad, Huston, King.
Councilmen absent b: Marion, Stevens.
�ulb-lease ;"a^ The Clerk presented and read sub -lease of the Municipal
Golf Ccurse Golf Course to Stricklin and Stricklin. On motion by King
seconded by Huston the Mayor and City Clerk were authorized
and directed to execute same on behalf of the City , of Hunt-
ington Beach, effective as of February 1st, 1933.
Cha.rse� on MlPm� The Clerk read a letter from the Woman's Relief Corps
Hall - W.R C. requesting cancellation of charges for use of the Memorial.

Council it was decided that there was no provisions .in the City
Ordinances which would permit the Council to make this refund.
The Clerk was directed to write the W.R.C. and inform them of -the
Council's action.
On motion by King seconded by Huston, W.R.Higgins and
Lyndon Wells were employed to paint the City Engineer's two
offices and the City Judge's office at a total cost of $50.00
Demands approved by the Finance Committee were ordered
paid, on motion by King seconded by Huston.
IBcat landing a t Superintendent of Streets Wirth informed the Council that
pier washed loose
on the night of January 19th the pier boat landing had been
washed loose from its moorings, that the landing had been
recovered and repairs costing approximately $35.00 were being
made.
Council adjourned on motion by Huston seconded -by King.
