Council Chamber, Thursday March 16th,1933
Pursuant to adjournment of March 15th, the City Council
met and was called to order at 7:30 PM by Mayor Conrad.
Councilrnen,present:Marion, Huston, Stevens, King,Conrad.
Councilmen•absent :None.
The Clerk gave Ordinance No. 359, amending the City
building ordinance its first reading at this time:.
On motion by Stevens seconded by Marion demands approved
by the Finance Committee was ordered paid.
The Council adjourned until 10:00 AM Wednesday March 22nd
on motion by King seconded r

Council Chamber, Wednesday/22d,1933
Pursuant to adjournment of march 16th, the City Council
met and was called to order at 10 o'clock AM by Mayor Conrad.
Councilmen present: Marion, Huston, .Stevens, King, Conrad.
Councilmen absent: None..
On motion by King seconded by Stevens, minutes for the
month of February were approved as read.
Mr. T.B.Talbert addressed the Council relative to plans for
establishing a beach camp ground. Mr. Talbert urged the Council
to locate the grounds as near the Main Street business section
as possible. Mr. Warren Bristol, representing,the:Business Men's
Association urged immediate action in the establishment of the
camp grounds':
Lyndon Wells recommended that the City Council secure the
opinions of those living along Ocean Avenue between Main Street
and First Street before placing the camp site on the westerly
side of First Street. Mayor Conrad.said that it was the intention
Of the Council to consult those property owners located in the
immediate vicinity of the proposed camp site.
