City Hall, Thursday April 27th, 1933•
Pursuant to adjournment of April 25th the City Council
met and was called to order at 10:00 AM by Mayor Conrad.
Councilmen present; Huston, King, Conrad.
Councilmen absent : Marion, Stevens.
Action take:: on, On motion by King seconded by Huston, the application
appl:,ications to
sell beer. of J.O.Loretz for class No. 2 license to sell beer at 211
Assembly Bill
#1201
Main Street was approved.
On motion by Huston seconded by .King,,' the application
of Cecylle J. Oliver for class No. 2 license to sell, beer
at 416 Ocean Avenue was approved.
On motion by King seconded by Huston the application
of Claude Fredrick for class No.- 2 license to sell beer
at 126 Main Street was approved.
On'motion by Heston seconded by King, the application
of Elsie M. Bakre for class No. 2 license to sell beer at
306 Ocean Avenue, Golden Bear Cafe, was approved.
On motion by King seconded by Huston, the application
of-F. H. Berdelman for -class No. 2 license to sell beer at
Concessions 3, 4 and 5, beach pavillion, was approved.
On motion by Huston seconded by King the application
of True M. Cryder for class No. 2 license to sell beer at
203 Main Street was, approved.
On motion by Huston seconded by King the application
of G. B. Talbert for class No. 3 license to wholesale beer
at a place later to be decided upon was approved.
On motion by Huston seconded by King the application
of Gilbert Hadley for class No. 2 license to sell beer at
403 Walnut Avenue was approved.
The application of Martha Koofolis of Santa Ana for
class No. 2 license to sell beer at a place later to be
decided upon was laid over for further investigation.
On motion by King seconded by Huston Assembly Bill
No. 1201, Santa Ana Basin Water District measure, was '
referred to City Attorney Overacker with instructions to
investigate and if found. advisable to furtner advise the

California Senate and Assembly as to the action taken in
opposition to this bill by the City Council on April 25th.
On motion by King seconded by Huston the Council
adjourned.
