Pursuant to adjournment of April lst,,the City Clerk appeared
and opened the council chamber at 7:30 P.M.
There being no quorum present, the City Clerk.adjourned the
meeting until 7:30 P.M. Wednesday. April 17th, 19350

MINUTES
City Hall, Wednesday April 17th, 1935.
Pursuant to adjournment of April 8th, the City Council met and
was called to order at 7:30 P.rll by Mayor Talbert.
Councilmen present: Marion, Chamness, Tovatt, Warner, Talbert.
Councilmen absent': None.
The Clerk presented and read Resolution No. 724,.accepting
deed to 44.26 acres to be used for sewer plant site and other
purposes and, on motion by Warner seconded by Marion, Resolution
No. 724 was passed and —adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Chamness,Marion,Tovatt, Warner, Talbert.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
The Clerk read an application signed by C. K Morrison asking
for the exclusive rights to operate live bait boat from the
municipal pier. After some discussion It was decided to call A. E
Brunner, the holder of similar -permit, before the Council and, on
motion by_Chamness seconded by Marion, the Clerk was directed to
notify Mr. Brunner to appear before the City Council at its
regular adjourned meeting, Monday April 29th, 1935, at.7:30 P.M.
to show cause why his contract should not be cancelled.
-The application of the Christian Science Church to place boxes
for the dispensing of Christian Science Literature in the city camp
ground and under the -pier was accepted"and the Clerk directed to
notify the Clerk of the church that it would be permissible until
further notice to install the boxes.
Dues - On motion by Warner seconded by'Chamness, the Council appropriated
Orange C o .
Coast Assan the sum of $25.00 to pay annual dues to the Orange County Coast
Association for the year 1935.
