GELZER, Chief of Police CONSENT TO MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL held at City Hall, City of Huntington Beach Tune llt4,1935 at the hour of 14030 PM. We the undersigned being all members of t%xe City Coil#zil of the city of Huntington Beach; do hereby give our consent to the holding of a special meeting of said City Council for the purpose of taking necessary action for the re -zoning of terr8tory within] the corporate limits of t#e City of Huntington Beach, in- cluding the reading for the first time of an ordinance designating such zones and regulating the business structures and or/ occupations that may be maintained and erected therein. We, The members of the Council of the City of Huntington Beach unanimously agree that Assembly Bill #1684 provides for the proper development of the tideland oil pool at Huntington Beach and precludes unsightly structures and the pollution of our beaches and adds additional revenue to the State of California. We respectfully ask that you sign this bill. Cou�nc�ilmapn Councilman Yed. 2k 386 a On motion by Marion seconded by Chamness, a telegram was approved and ordered sent to the Governor urging him to sign assembly bill #1684. Pursuant to provisions of the special call the Clerk presented and read for the first time Ordinance #386, prohibiting the erection of structures on the tidelands or ocean within the city limits.
