HomeMy WebLinkAbout1936-08-10 (5)16 MINUTES BOARD OF EQUALIZATION Pursuant to statutes class, the City Council met and was called to order by Monday Augus u 10th, 1936. Council Chamber, City Hall, Iiionday August loth, 1936. covering cities of the sixth as a Board of Equalization Chairman Warner at 10:00 A.M., Members present: Warner, Morehouse, Chamness, Talbert. Members absent Henrickson.: The Clerk read a letter from Josie Cavanaugh pro- testing against assessments on Lots 11 and 13 in Block 309, Main Street section and a,letter from Frank,Buttram pro- testing mineral right assessments on Parcel 33. There being no other written protests, the Chair ordered the above named objections to be taken under advise- ment until 7:30 P.M this date, and on motion by Talbert seconded by Chamness, the Board adjourned until 7:30 P.M. Monday August 10th, 1936. City Clerk and ex-officio Clerk of the Board of Equalization. ATTEST: Chairman of the Board. Pursuant to adjouri-anent of this date, the City Council met as a Board of,Equalization at 7:30 P.M. -Members present: ;Iorehouse, Chamness, garner. Members absent : Talbert, Henrickson. On motion by Chamness seconded by, Morehouse, all claims for adjustment of assessments made by the City Assessor for the year 1936-37 were denied and the assess- ment roll as made by the City Assessor was approved and sustained: On motion by Chamness seconded by Morehouse, the Board of Equalization adjourned.
