City Hall, Wednesday February 17th, 1937.
Pursuant to adjournment of February 15th, the Council was called
to order at 7:30 p.m. by PJlayor Warner.
Councilmen present: Warner,Morehouse, Chamness, Talbert, Henrickson.
Councilmen absent None.
Fishing; Barge The Clerk read a letter from Chris Enholm to the effect that he
was making preparation with a view of filing an application in the near
future to operate fishing barge off the Huntington Beach pier.
De Mola.y to Clifford Overacker addressed the Council on behalf of the De Molay
represent city
Officials and asked permission to represent the various city officials some day during
March, definite date would be furnished the Council at its March meeting.
The Mayor informed Mr. Overacker that this would be agreeable with the
City Council.
Surety Bond
On motion by Talbert seconded by Chamness, the surety bond of
3 A. D. Moodie, house -mover, was accepted and ordered filed.
Property owners Mrs. C. F. Cooley, F. E. Bundy, C. J. Porter and Marcus Howard
address Council
addressed the Council and urged that action be taken to provide adequate
C drainage for`the 13th Street district. They were informed that the Council
was taking action and_ _that before next minter the new "drainage ditch would
j be in operation.
On motion by Talbert seconded by Chamness, the City Engineer was

installation of a 36 inch and 42 inch drain from the ocean along 13th to
r Orange and a 24 inch and 30 inch drain along 13th from Orange to Lake.
Also drainage from Ocean Avenue to the ocean at 16th and 20th Streets.
On motion by Talbert seconded by Henrickson, the Council
adjourned.
