farther, whereupon Councilman Talbert, with the consent of his
second, withdrew the motion for adoption of the resolution®

of them as possible would call on a firm of Los Angeles bonding
attorneys for further ruling on the subject and that the Council
would again meet at 2:00 o'clock P.".Wednesday, December 3rd to give
the matter further consideration®
Amendment to On motion by Talbert seconded by Grable, the City Attorney
salary Ord,
was authorized to prepare an amendment to salary ordinance increas-
ing the salary of the City Judge to $150.00 per month, payable on
and after the next general City election®
Mayor McCallen informed the Council that in the event the
City wishes to increase the salary of its Chief of Police or Fire
Chief, that same could be done by an amendment to the salary ord.

Pursuant to adjournment of December 1st, the Clerk appeared
at the Council Chamber at 2:00 o'clock P.M. There being no quorum
present, the Clerk adjourned the meeting until 9:00 A.M. Thursday,
December 4, 1941.
