MINUTES
Council Chamber, City Hall,
Huntington Beach, California
October 15, 1942.
Pursuant to call of Mayor T. B. Talbert for special meeting to be held
at 5:00 o'clock P.M. on the 15th day of October, 1942, the original of which
call is attached hereto and made a part of these minutes, the City Council met
and was.called to order at 5:00 o'clock P.M.
Councilmen present: Grable, Henrickson, Morehouse.
Councilman absent: Hawes, Talbert.
On motion by Henrickson seconded by Morehouse, Councilman Grable was
appointed mayor pro-tem.
In accordance with provisions of the Special Call, the Clerk presented
and read for the first time Ordinance No. 463, regulating dim-outs in the
City of Huntington Beach.
Attorney Overacke r informed the Council that he felt that if this
ordinance had been prepared by some city attorney it would have been more
effective.
On motion by Henrickson seconded by Morehouse, the Council adjourned.

CONSENT TO SPECIAL MEETING
of
THE CITY COUNCIL
We, the undersigned, being all of the members of the
ity Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, do
hereby consent to a special meeting of the City Council to be
held in the Council Chambers at the hour of Qf K.on the `�� day of October, 1942, for the purpose of
presenting and reading an Ordinance, conforming to I Public
P roclamation No. 12, Amending Public Proclamation No. 10
as issued by J. L. Devitt, Lieutenant General, U. S. Army,
Commanding.
