HomeMy WebLinkAbout1943-07-1225- MINUTES. 1 1 Council Chamber, City Hall, Huntington Beach, California Monday, July 12, 1943 BOARD OF EQUALIZATION Pursuant to Statutes and the Charter of the City of Huntington Beach, the Board of -Equalization of the City of Huntington Beach, met and was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by the Clerk. Members present:- Henrickson, Grable, Morehouse. Members absent: Hawes, Talbert. On motion by Henrickson seconded by Morehouse, Council -- man Grable was elected chairman protem of the Board of Equalization. The City Clerk informed the Board that no verbal or written protests against the assessments as made by the city assessor had been filed. The Chairman asked if there was anyone in the audi- ence who washed to enter a protest. There being no response, on motion by Henrickson seconded by Morehouse, the assessment roll for the fiscal year 1943--1944, as ,jnade by the city assessor, was approved. Motion put'and carried unanimously. f .On motion by Henrickson seconded by Morehouse, the Board.,of Equalization adjourned.
