Planning Commission was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Langenbeck. Members present: Langenbeck, Kaufman, Davis, Shaw, Hudson, Overacker Furr, Bristol, Overmyer and Engineer parks. Members absent., None. Visitors present: Gallienne, Bray, King and Hepburn, repre- senting the Chamber of Commerce. Minutes Minutes for the month of November were approved as read. Attorney Overacker reported on the airfield landing contract Airfield near the easterly city limits and said that he believed they landing had a valid contract from the City. contract C. H. King of the Chamber of Commerce called attention to the area north of Lake Park and on the easterly side of Main Street Area -to extending from llth to Utica and from Main Street to Lake be -included Avenue and suggested that this area be included in the present in land use land use plan most of which should be restricted for single family residences, and on motion by Hudson seconded by Bristol, plan. On motion by Kaufman seconded by Davis, the Commission voted to Portion delete that portion of Section 15, paragraph 6 and paragraph 17, deleted section 6 of the proposed ordinance. On motion by Shaw seconded by Overmyer, Section 24, paragraph Amendment D, was amended to read: "It shall be unlawful to construct, erect or locate on any lot in R-1, R-140, R-2, or R-2-0 districts private garages or other accessory, -,buildings without permissible • main building. 11 0 On motion by Kaufman seconded by Bristol, the proposed ordi- Amendment nance also amended Sec tion 15 by adding Paragraph 7 providing for parking lots.
