MINUTES OF PLANNING COPJMISSION

Huntington Beach, California
Friday, May 10, 1946
The regular meeting of the Huntington Beach Planning
Commission was called to order at 7:30 P. M. by Chairman
Hudson.
Present: Hudson, Kaufman, Bristol, Furr, Overacker
and consulting engineer Parks. •
ABsent: Davis, Jones, Shaw, Overmyer.
Minutes
On motion by Bristol seconded by Kaufman, minutes
for the month of April were approved as read.
Junk
The Clerk read an application from L. W. Dye to
Yard
operate an open junk yard on Lots 9 and 11, Block 522,
and on motion by Kaufman seconded by Bristol, the Com-
mission voted to recommend to the City Council that the
application be denied.
Plans for
.Carl Young, 4329 Bellflower Blvd., Long Beach, •
Lots 6 & 7,
addressed the Commission and presented proposed plans
Tr.1156
for improvement by building residences on Lots 6 and 7,
Tract 1156. On account of the irregular shape of the
lots, it was explained that the buildings could not be
faced strictly in accordance with ordinances. On motion
by Bristol seconded by Kaufman, the plot plan presented
was approved by the Planning Commission and favorably
recommended to the building inspector of the City of
Huntington Beach.
Mr. Rodrigues
IJIr. Rodrigues addressed the Commission and pre-
sented sketch of proposed improvements on Ocean Avenue
easterly of First Street. No action was taken by the •
Commission.
On motion by Bristol seconded by Overacker, the
Commission adjourned.
