HomeMy WebLinkAbout1946-06-14• FJ • • MINUTES OF PLANNING COMMISSION Council Chamber, City Hall, Huntington Beach, California Friday, June 14, 1946 The regular meeting of the Huntington Beach Planning Commission was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Hudson. Members present: Shaw, Davis, Jones, Kaufman, Hudson, Over— acker, Furr and Consulting Engineer Parks. Members absent: Bristol, Overmyer. Alfred J. Cusolito addressed the Commission and presented plans and specifications for the construction of a residence on Lots 16 and 18 in Block 910, Wesley Park, otherwise known as Tract 1029. Mr. Cusolito stated that the plans and specifications had been pprepared before he had discovered the combined width was only 42 feet and 7 inches; that the plans contemplated a 50 foot lot. He asked for conditional exception which would allow the residence to be built within three feet of the property line on either side instead of the required 4 feet as provided for in Ordinance No, 495. He was informed by the Commission that it will be necessary for him to file an application for conditional ex— ception as provided for in the districting ordinance, after which the Commission would advertise for a hearing. The date for the hearing was tentatively agreed upon for July 2, 1946, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. Wheeler and Deardorff, building contractors, submitted plans for three residences to be erected on Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 in Block 1204, Vista Del Mar Tract; size.of the lots being 27 X 112.5 feet each. The contractors asked for a conditional exception which would allow them to divide the area into three 36 feet lots. They were informed that it will be necessary for • them to file an application.in regular form after which the Commission will consider the calling of a special meeting to pass on the application. The date of hearing was tentatively set for 700 P.M. Tuesday, July 2, 1946. Change in ' The following notice in writing was presented: "That the meeting regular meeting date of the Huntington Beach Planning Commission date be changed to the @econd Wednesday of each and every month and that the bylaws be amended accordingly." The secretary was directed to make a Minute record of the notice and to bring the matter up for a vote at the next meeting of the Commission.
