Councilman Hawes stated that in general the proposed plan appears
good, that Huntington Beach needs industries on the 52 acres more than it
does public parks but that the City Council must see to it that full
and definite agreements are made before the City transfers the property.
The Clerk read proposal of John H. Marion and C.M. Rood to purchase
ten acres of the -City owned 52 acres at the intersection of Highway 39
