MINUTES
Council Chamber, City Hall,
Huntington Beach, California
2:00 o'clock P.M. Thursday,
December 12, 1946
:Pursuant to adjournment of Monday, December 9th, 1946 the
City Council met and was called to order at 2:00 o'clock P.H. by
Mayor Bartlett.
Councilmen present: Grable, Terry, Hawes, Langenbeck, Bartlett.
Councilmen absent: None.
The City Council, Attorney Roland Thompson and Roy N.'Brown
discussed in general the sale of the city owned 52 acres located
in the easterly part of the City.
No action was taken by the City Council and further negotia-
tions were deferred until next meeting of the City Council.
On motion by Langenbeck seconded by Hawes, the City Council
voted to invite War Veterans to hold their annual meeting in
Huntington Beach Armistice Day, November'll, 1947, and the City
Council agreed to cooperate in helping to defray expenses of the
meeting provided that no other similar meetings will be held in
the County on.the same day. Motion put and carried unanimously.
On motion by Hawes seconded by Langenbeck, the Council
adjourned.
