PLANNING COMMISSION • MINUTES Council Chamber, City Hall, Huntington Beach, California Tuesday, June 3, 1947- Pursuant to adjournment of May 20th, the City Plan- ning Commission met and was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by chairman Bristol. Members present: Bristol, Davis, Tovatt, Furr, Overacker and Consulting Engineer Parks. Members absent: Overmyer, Hudson, LeBard and Kaufman. • Hearing - This being, the date set for hearing relative to amend- ing Ordinance No. 495, the secretary informed the chair that Amendment no written or verbal objections had been filed in his office.. to Ord.# Chairman Bristol asked if there was anyone in the audience 495 who had any objections to the proposed amendment. There being none, the chairman announced that the second and final hearing -would be held at 7:30 P-M- Tuesday, June 17, 1947. Resolution The secretary presented and read Resolution No. 2 #2 _ to amend land use provisions of Ordinance No. 495, and on motion by Davis seconded by Tovatt, Resolution No. 2 was • passed and adopted by the following vote; AYES: Davis, Tovatt, Overacker, Bristol, Furr. - NOES: None ABSENT: Overmyer, Hudson, LeBard, Kaufman. Committee Consulting Engineer Parks suggested that the Commis- sioh appoint a committee of three to act on applications submitted by the County Planning Commission, and on motion by Tovatt seconded by Davis, the chair appointed the secre- tary as chairman of t he.committee with authority to appoint two other members who shall pass on applications referred to the City Commission by the County Commission. • Master Consulting Engineer Parks presented and read pro - Plan posed master plan of land.use in and adjacent to the City of Huntington Beach. The matter was continued. Application The matter of the application of A.B. Purdy for Purdy:. conditional exception at 601 Eleventh Street was con— tinued until next meeting. - On motion by Tovatt seconded by Davis, the Commis- sion adjourned.
