PLANNING 0018iISSION MINUTES Council Chamber, City Hall Huntington Beach, California Tuesday, August 5, 1947 The regular meeting of the Huntington Beach Planning Commission was called to order at 8:00 P.M. Members present: Furr, Tovatt, Kaufman, Overacker, Henricksen, and Consulting Engineer Parks. Members absent: Davis, LeBard and Bristol. • On motion by Furr seconded by Kaufman, Ray Overacker was appointed Chairman Pro-tem. Bristol arrived at 8:30 P.M. and M relieved the Chairman Pro-tem. Minutes On motion by Furr seconded by Tovatt, minutes for the month of July were approved as read. The secretary read the communication received from W. E. Draper requesting permission to construct a Trailer Court on the following described property: The Easterly 200 f t. of Parcel 32-0, less • streets, in NW4 of NE4 of SE4, Section 11, TWP 6, Range 11. 11. E. Draper On motion by Furr seconded by Tovatt the secretary was Trailer Court instructed to write a letter to Mr. Draper to the effect that the property described in the R-2-0 District and the uses per- mitted in that district are outlined in sections 13 and 14 of the Districting Ordinances of the City of Huntington Beach. Alice Stark The secretary read the petition for conditional exception Application filed by Alice C. Stark, 616 Crest Avenue, Huntington Beach, exceptional California requesting changes in the intended use of property condition from conditions permitted in R-1 to those permitted in R-3. The • applicant was present at the meeting and addressed the Commission and gave reasons for requesting a conditional exception. On motion by Tovatt seconded by Furr, secretary was instructed to advertise for a Public Hearing on August 19, 1947 and to post notices for the hearing in accordance with the requirements of the Districting Ordinances, was approved. Roy A. Guppy The Clerk read a petition for conditional exception filed Application by Roy A. Guppy, 201 Frankfurt Street, Huntington Beach.
