Friday, December 19,'1947
Pursuant to adjournment of Monday, December 15, 1947, the City
Council met and was called to order at 5:10 P.M., by Mayor Bartlett.
Councilmen present: Greer, Langenbeck, Bartlett.
Councilmen absent:, Terry, Hawes. '
On motion by Langenbeck seconded by Greer that the Mayor and City
Clerk be authorized to execute the agreement between the Shell (ail Company
and the City of Huntington Beach, covering price schedules for motor oils and
lubricants for one year commencing January 1, 1949 and ending December 31,
1949, was approved.
On motion by Langenbeck seconded by Greer that the request of the
U.S. Army.and Air Force Recruiting Service for permission to establish a
recruiting station in'the City and move a 81 x 101 frame building onto a
centrally located lot -leased for the purpose, was approved.
C Agreement On Motion by Langenbeck seconded by Greer that the Mayor and City
Nitzkowski.
Clerk be authorized to execute the renewal of beach concession agreement
between Victor Nitzkowski and the City of Huntington Beach permitting
lessee to rent beach umbrellas and surf riding equipment for the term ending
1st day of May, 1951, was approved.
