Mayor Greer called the meeting to order at 7:30 P. M.
Councilmen present: LeBard, Terry, Seabridge, Langenbeck, Greer.
Councilmen absent: None
Minutes On motion by Langenbeck seconded by Seabridge the minutesibr the
month of November, 1948 were approved as read.
On motion by LeBard seconded by Terry the monthly reports of the City
Monthly
Reports Treasurer, City Clerk, City Engineer, Chief of Police, and the City Judie
for the month of November, 1948 were approved and ordered filed. '
Application On motion by Seabridge seconded by LeBard the following applications

On motion by Langenbeck seconded by Seabridge that the bids
and specifications on the fire truck be referred to the Fire
Committee and the Fire Chief for further study and report, was
approved.
Mr. Talbert, Mr. Farnsworth and Mr. Elliott appeared before
the City Council and discussed the sub -surface drainage problem
on their acreage that lies eastand north of the City owned 52
acres, and requested that the City Council cooperate with the
Talbert Drainage District to arrive at a solution of this joint
problem of sub -surface drainage whibh Is hurting the land for
full productive use.
On motion by Seabridge seconded by Langenbeck that the sub-

Farnsworth, and Mr. Elliott be referred to the Sanitation Commi*-

On motion by Seabridge seconded by Le Bard that Resolution #1068,
a resolution of the City of Huntington Beach establishing the general
prevailing rate of per diem wages for each craft or type of workman or
mechanic needed in the construction of one toilet building in the
Municipal Trailer Park in the City of Huntington Beach, California was
