Thursday, March 31, 1949
Pursuant to adjournment of March 17, 1949 the Hunt-
ington Beach Planning Commission was called to order by
the Secretary at 7:30 P.M.
Members Present: Kaufman, Bannister, Tovatt, Hinshaw,
Henricksen.
Members absent: Hamann, Overmyer, Overacker, Bristol.
On motion by Tovatt seconded by Bannister Commissioner
Kaufman was approinted chairman pro-tem in the absence
of Chairman Bristol.
Second hearing The Chairman pro-tem announced that this was the
Distr.Ord. time, 8:00 P.M., set for the second hearing relative to
amending the Districting Ordinance by adding a new section
thereto to be known as "Section 18.5, R-5-0 District,
Multiple -Family and Hotel District combined with Oil
Production." The secretary reported that there had been no
protests filed. The Chairman pro-tem asked if there was
anyone present that wished to voice their opinions for
or against the proposed amendment. There being no re-
sponse and no protests having been voiced or filed the
Chairman pro-tem declared the second and final hearing
closed.
The Chairman pro-tem ordered a recess at 8:10 P.M.
The Chairman pro-tem called the meeting to order
at 8:30 P.M.
Second hearing The Chairman announced that this was the time,
changes of 8:30 P.M., set for the second hearing relative to
dist.boundary proposed changes of district -boundary and use class-
ification in accordance with notice of public hearings
published in the Huntington Beach News, February 24,
and March 3, 1949 and notice posted on described parcel
of land.
The secretary reported that there had been no pro-
tests filed. The Chairman pro-tem asked if there was anyone
present that wished to voice their opinion for or against
the proposed changes. There being no response and no
protests having been filed the Chairman pro-tem de-
clared the second and final hearing closed.

the commission's findings, recommendations of the result
and recommending amendments to Ordinance No. 495• On
motion by Tovatt seconded by Hinshaw Resolution No. 13
was passed and adopted by the following roll call: -
AYES: Bannister, Tovatt, Hinshaw, Henricksen, Kaufman
NOES: None
ABSENT: Hamann, Overmyer, Overacker, Bristol.
On motion by Hinshaw seconded by Tovatt the meeting
adjourned.
