Pleating Pursuant to Call for Special Meeting of City Councilmen, the original of
which is attached hereto and made a part of these minutes, the City Council met
in special session and was called to order at 6:00 o'clock P.M. by Mayor Greer,
Councilmen present: Greer, Langenbeck, LeBard.
Councilmen absent: Terry, Seabridge.

Gentlemen:
You are hereby notified that a Special Meeting of the
City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California is
called for and will be held in the Council Chamber of the
City Hall at the hour of 6:00 o'clock P.M., Ffiday, April 1,
1949, for the purpose of officially setting rental rates for
the use of the Pavalon Ballroom located at the Northeast end
of the Mmicipal Piere

Ballroom
for Special Meeting of City Councilmen.
On motion by Langenbeck seconded by LeBard that the
City be authorized to rent the Pavalon Ballroom for Friday
evenings at the rate of ten dollars (010.00) per evening
and for Saturday evenings at the rate of twenty dollars
(020.00) per evening for the next eight weeks starting this
Friday, April 19 1949, was approved.
On motion by Langenbeck seconded by LeBard that the
Beach and Pier Committee be instructed together with the City
Administrator to formulate a rent schedule for the Pavalon
to be presented to this Council at the first meeting in May
for approval or rejection, was approved.
On motion by Langenbeck seconded by LeBard the Council
adjourned.
