Overacker, Secretary Pro-tem, at 7:45 P.M. Members present: Hinshaw, Hamann, Overmyer, Bannister, Overacker, and Consultant Parks. Members absent: Bristol, Henricksen, Kaufman and Tovatt. It was moved, seconded and carried that Bannister be appointed Chairman Pro-tem in the absence of Chairman Bristol. Hearing- This being_ the time for the hearing of an application Cond.Except. for conditional exception for the operation of a machine shop on Lots 2 and 4, Block 1902, of Huntington Beach. J. Bushard The chairman called a hearing. James Bushard appeared and discussed the application. After the hearing it was regularly moved by Commissioner Hinshaw and seconded by Commissioner Hamann that the application be granted uppn the following conditions: Conditions: That all operations be confined inside of the building or inside of the fence hereinafter provided for. That two signs not exceeding 24 sq. feet in area be permitted, one in front of the building and the other upon the ridge of the building. No stamping equipment or expansion of building to be permitted without conditional exception. A solid fence not in excess of 2500 sq. feet in area nor over 6 feet in height may be constructed in the rear of the building for the housing and storage of material, provided, that no material so stored would extend above the top of the fence. A roll call being called for the motion was passed upon the following vote: AYES: Hinshaw, Hamann, Overmyer, Bannister, Overacker, NOES: None ABSENT: Bristol, Henricksen, Kaufman, Tovatt. Highway Plan A delegation from the Chamber of Commerce was present and Consultant Parks presented a general lay -out plan and a highway plan for the area southerly from Atlanta Street, including the 52 acres owned by the City of Huntington Beach. Considerable discussion ensued,'but no action was taken. On motion regularly made and seconded the Commission adjourned at 10:45 P.M. if Ray H. Overacker, Secretary Pro -ten. Richard E. Bannister, Chairman Pro-tem.
