On motion by Langenbeck seconded by Seabridge that the meeting of the City Council adjourn until 5:00 P.M. June 7, 1949, was approved. Councilmen present: LeBard, Seabridge, Langenbeck, Greer. Councilmen absent: None Mayor Greer called upon Officer Bergey to make h1s statement on the mob violence that took place at the beach,on June 5, 1949• The police report of the affair was read by Councilman Langenbeck. Officers Belshe, rarker and Thompson reported their version of the affair. On motion by LeBard seconded by Langenbeck that Chief of Police Blossoms request for his annual vacation starting Wednesday, June dth, 1949 be granted, was approved. Mayor Greer Called for a recess at 7:00 P.M. The City Council was called to order at 8:OU P.M. by Mayor Greer. ':I The City Council completed the review of the 1949-50 budget.
