HomeMy WebLinkAbout1949-10-06• MINUTES HUNTINGTON BEACH PLANNING COMMISSION Council Chamber, City Hall Huntington Beach, California Thursday, October 6, 1949 Chairman Bristol called the meeting of the Planning Commission to order at 7:30 otclock P.I. • Present: Bristol, Overmyer, Overacker, Bannister, Hamann, Kaufman, Henricksen, and Consultant Parks. Absent: Tovatt, Hinshaw. Public The Chairman requested the Secretary to read the legal notice Hearings published in the Huntington Beach News September 22, 1949 giving notice that two public hearings will be held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall in Huntington Beach on the 6th and 20th day of October, 1949" relative to the question of amending the Districting Ordinance in certain particulars. • The Secretary reported that there had been no verbal or written protests filed. There being no one present in the audience to speak for or against the proposed amendment, the Chairman declared the first hearing closed. Streets & Consultant Parks presented to the Commission a map suggesting a Highways Plan Streets and Highways Plan for use by the County Planning Commission. The map was discussed and numerous changes suggested. On motion by Overmyer seconded by Kaufman that Consultant Parks be instructed to prepare a streets and highway map in line with the plan reviewed and suggested changes was approved. • On motion by Kaufman seconded by Bannister the meeting adjourned. 1 • Chairman Secretary 0
