Councilmen present: Wood, Bartlett, Seabridge • Councilmen absent: Lockett, LeBard (Councilman Lockett arrived at 8:30 o'clock P.M.) Quotations . The Clerk presented quotations received from the Roy D. on Pickup Bryant Motor company, Mandic Motor Company, and Crook Company of Los Angeles for delivery of a 4 wheel -drive pickup type truck for use by the Lifeguard Department on the beach, and • the follovL ng quotations were submitted: ! Crook Company - Model M104, New 1953 Marmon -Herrington, 4 wheel -drive, Ford 2 ton pickup with V-8 engine, 4 speed syncro silent transmission with five 8:20 x 15 - 4 ply tires, Net Price - F.O.B. Huhtington Beach, Calif- ornia, plus Calif.State Sales Tax - $2,750.00 Delivery - Immediate Roy D. Bryant Agent be authorized to issue purchase order to the Roy D. Bryant Motor Co.
