Mayor Seabridge called the regular meeting of the City Council of
th6yTCity of Huntington Beach to order at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
Councilmen present: Seabridge, Lockett, Bartlett
Councilmen absent: LeBard, Terry (Terry arrived at 8:45)
In the absence of Councilman LeBard Mayor Seabridge
appointed Councilman Lockett to serve on the Finance Committee,
On motion by Bartlett seconded by Lockett the minutes

of the meetings of the City Council of June 6, 1955, and June
20, 1955, as transcribed and mailed by the City Clerk be ac-
cepted and ordered filed, were approved.
The Clerk read the reports for the month of June, 1955,
Monthly as presented by the City Treasurer, City Clerk, City Collector,
Reports
City Engineer, Fire Chief, Police Chief, Chief Lifeguard, -Manager
of Municipal Trailer Park, and Superintendent of Recreation.
On motion by Bartlett seconded by Lockett the reports
of the department heads for the month of June, 1955, as read by
the City Clerk be accepted and ordered filed, were approved.

The Clerk further reported that since the action of the Planning
Commission the owner and sub -divider had filed a revised Tentative
Map Tract No. 2548, in accordance with recommendation of the Plan-
ning Commission, and presented to the City Council the revised Ten-

On motion by Lockett seconded by Bartlett the revised
Tentative Map Tract No. 2548, subject to conditions imposed by
the recommendations of the Planning Commission relative to Ten-
tative Map Tract No. 2548, be confirmed and accepted, was approved.

On motion by Bartlett seconded by Lockett the Mayor and
Agr'm't City Clerk be authorized to execute the agreement made and entered

of C. & into as of July 1, 1955, by and between the City of Huntington Beach

and the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit corporation,
was approved.
The Clerk gave Ordinance No. 630, an ordinance relating

answered, and asked for certain engineering data and requested

The Clerk read the communication received from the Fairchild
